Kayaking in France?

Where should i learn to Kayak in France?
Id like to go to the French Alps (or somewhere just as nice) and learn to Kayak. Id like to go on a multiday trip but am looking for something cheap and focused on twentysomething people. Id have about £500 in total but that would be the absolute max and would be spent travelling for a short time after too. Any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks

In the SouthEast of France, The "Gorges du Verdon" are very nice to practice watersports, and the landscapes are beautiful. But if you want to try open water kayaking, corsica should be great, with nice beaches and warm water.

arun d
Or else try the South west, the Pyrénees they are relatively cheaper.

epidavros
Try the Ardeche.

Loads of kayaking companies there and the gorge is beautiful.
