La louvre -paris?

How does someone get a job working at la lourve? I've tried finding out this question on the website but can't find anything! It's been a dream of mine forever but I wonder what the requirements are?
Additional Details
LE louvre - man lighten up

The first requirement would be the legal right to live and work in Paris. If you're an EU citizen then no problem but if you're an American (or other non-EU country citizen) then its a big and perhaps insurmountable problem.

Second would be the ability to speak fluent French. The French are significantly more formal about language than most English speakers. Making mistakes with things like Le/La, especially if you react flippantly to being corrected, will be taken as a sign that you are not a serious person.

Third, impeccable academic credentials from a university with a name and reputation that are instantly recognized anywhere in the world. i.e. something on the Harvard and Oxford level.

CiaoBella
first of all, it's LE LOUVRE.
try to find a phone number to call. also, do you speak french, have a french work permit, and reside in france? those would be the deciding factors.

If you are going to spend any time in France, be prepared for ppl to correct your French grammar (been there, done that, so I know). But to answer your question, consider sending Le Louvre a letter of introduction (in French) and your cv. If working there is a possibility, they might write back. Calling is iffy bc the person answering might not know or might just give you the runaround.

Nick
honestly I don't know but I wish u all the luck you need since it's been your dream.... really good luck and hope to see you au Louvre!!
