Learning French...?

I am planning on going to France next summer, and I would like to learn French. I know a little, but not enough. What would be a quick, easy, and cheap way to learn French?

Check and see if your library has Rosetta Stone. It's expensive to buy, but I've heard nothing but good things about it.

If you go to Paris, then take a french course at Cours Civilisation Française de la Sorbonne. It's quite expensive, but they have good qualities teachers, and a good learning program.

talk to me or my uncle.

but the BEST way to learn is jsut being around t hearing it all the time. taking classes where the instructor talks only french. go to a university/college that offers french and ask to sit in on the class. they probly wont object and it will help a lot

.
If you want to actually know grammar, try a night course. They have a lot at schools and community colleges, at least where I live. If you just want to know phrases, get a phrasebook and memorize.
