unfortunetly the legal drinking age in france is 18 however you can drink wine in restraunts at any age.

when i was 17 i was in paris and the only place i couldnt get into were the night clubs i got into bars and stuff got pretty drunk too, so all was well.

they are kinda relaxed about underage drinking over there

Matt
You need to be at least 16 years old to offered (or sold) alcohol.

ed s
About 18 years

France is very liberal about this, they don't make a big deal out of this
Only in America are people neurotic about this, are poeple sometimes trying to fake or borrow another ID to enter a bar, are people ordered to court for DUI (doesnt mean its good).

normally, 18 but as France is so liberal on that score,
nobody will ask you for any proof of identity !
although at the moment, a new law is passing for
checking the DNA on children's immigrants !
back to fascism !
cheers ! lol
