The hotel lobby/entrance feels like you are walking into a palace- friendly check in- amazing concierge service- have seen the same concierges there for the past 10 years- and a great central location near shopping, parks, metro, and wi-fi in rooms. However smoking (including cigars) are allowed in bars which is quite a turn off- guess most of their guests...

The hotel that I stayed in wasn't on Ile-de-France. It is in Place de la Concorde at the end of the Champs-Elysees and Tuilleries Park. The location is fabulous. It is very central to all the major sites and shopping. The Hermes store is just a block away on the Rue de Faubourg and the hotel is at one end...
