German exchange student at our school said 16 for France and Germany, although many others have said 18. Anyone know? |

According to the law, in France, it is 18, but in reality you can get in at 16. |

I'am French,
So legally the age for buy alcohol is 18 as to can enter in any nightclubs. If u r not 18 the best is to look older, it's not frequent that we ask for ID. then in any bars, pubs, you can ask for alcohol if u look older than 18 or 18. It's the same if u want to buy alcohol.

You have to be 18 to enter a night club... according to the law...
But if you are 15 but you look more than that, you can go (they don't check your identity paper)
And also if you are with someone who is about 20 and if this person say you are her sister, don't worry, it's ok ! |

normally, you have to be 18.
in fact, you can get into nightclubs when younger, they don't really look at you. Just try to dress as a adult, not as a teenager. You have chance, you seems to be a woman, and if you're cue, you won't have any problem
they can't ask you an identity card, but they can refuse you if they don't like your style... |
