What is the best way to get from London to Paris?
...

I come from a land down under!

PARIS OR LONDON for teens?

I'm a 17 year old boy and i have a choice to go to either paris or london for a three week summer job! I don't know wich city is better, other than the shopping i want some partying (maybe some clubs) and where are the people friendlier and more open minded??

i've been to paris and its the only place thats lived up to my expectations. theres lots of clubs there and its really beautiful.. and i think london can be kinda dreary

I'd go to Paris. But that's only if you are good with French. Most of the young people in Paris know English so it might not be as bad as you thought but it would still be good to know French. However, London has more clubs and bars than Paris. But, it is pretty expensive to live there. Paris would be a little cheaper. And the people in Paris are probably more friendlier and open minded than the people in London. The choice is up to you though: whichever makes you feel better or has better pay.

I love them both, but there is infinitely more in Paris, and every ancient street (rue) can be a grand adventure.

i would go to paris without a doubt.
but if you don't speak french, london.
in paris, some people get angry when you don't make the effort to atleast try to speak french.
i would guess if you don't speak french, people will be nice in london to you. but french people are nice also, but unless you know a bit of french, its not going to be all that easy

Why, both, of course!! Take the job in London because you speak English. Then, take the EuroStar to Paris on the weekend and check it out. If you like the weekend in Paris, go back again every weekend and have a great time there and enjoy London on the weekday evenings. Good idea, non?
Bon voyage et bonne chance!!

Hmmm. Either would be a great place to spend 3 weeks. I think it might be easier to get into the nightlife of London. It's everywhere! And, unless your French is VERY good, it might be easier to meet people in London. Good luck.

I absolutly love France!!! I would recommend it for there is just so much to see, eat, enjoy- you get the point...
If you dont speak French, and dont want to bother learning, you may feel better in London. But keep in mind most people in France can speak enough english to communicate with foreigners.
hope this helps!

London will probably pay better, but on the other hand it is more expensive to be there. I live in London, and absolutely love the nightlife, restaurants etc., but when I've been to Paris, I've liked it too. If I were you, I would fix myself up with a sly fake id that says you're 18, because otherwise you might not get served in either city. Have fun though, either would be a blast.

both cities are great to visit. but i prefer london. london has amazing nightlife - loads of restaurantes, bars, clubs etc. and has every shop you can dream of! london is expensive, especially living there, but the atmosphere in the city has a 'buzz' and, to me, is my favourite city i've been to. you get a range of people - from quite lower class to extremely wealthy, depending on the area of london, but every time i go there, everyone seems friendly! have fun choosing anyhow! x

I've been to Paris, and while it is captivating at night, I think I would get tired of it after three weeks. Since I live 30 minutes away from France in the Rheinland-Pfalz in Germany, we go there often, and honestly I just find it a dirty country, Paris included. About two months ago, they had a trash worker strike and the trash was piled up in the streets. I would hate to be stuck in that if it happened again. So, anyway, I would definitely have to say London even though I haven't been there.
