The 11th November is for WWI, the 8th May if for WWII. There's only a ceremony at the Arc de Triomphe in remembrance. The only celebration we have with parade and fireworks is Bastille Day on the 14th of July celebrating the fall of the Bastille prison in 1789 which is the official starting day of the French Revolution.
