Viator.com sells the Paris Pass that gets you into a ton of museums at additional charge. It includes subway tickets as well. I visited Paris in June and used the Paris Pass myself. You pay for it online and pick it up at the Hard Rock Cafe. http://www.viator.com/tours/Paris/Paris-Pass/d479-2036PARIS
Viator actually offers lots of tours for Paris, though some are quite pricey. |

I too will be going to Paris for 6 days in September. This is what I've planned so far, though I'm sure it will change somewhat before then.
Will be arriving at the hotel around 10 a.m. We are staying at the Hotel de la Motte Picquet. A ten minute walk to the Eiffel Tower.
Day one
Sacre Coeur
Sainte Chapelle
Jardin du Luxembourg
Eiffel Tower
Seine river cruise
Here is the link for the cruise:
http://www.vedettesdupontneuf.com/billet_en.php
I didn't want to reserve yet in case it in raining that evening, so I just printed the 2 euro coupon.
Day 2 and 3 are packed because we are purchasing a 2 day Museum pass. You can purchase it at any museum and it allows you to bypass any lines. Here is the link:
http://www.parismuseumpass.com/en/pass_tarif.php
Day two
D’orsay museum (closed Monday)
Rodin museum (closed Monday)
Hotel d’Invalides museum
Louvre - open til 10 pm on Wednesday and Friday (closed Tuesday)
Day three
Notre Dame (museum pass includes a tour of the cathedral)
Ile St Louis
Musee de l‘Orangerie
Champs Elysees
Arc de Triomphe (included in Museum pass)
Day four
Versailles (will be purchasing at the metro a Versailles Passport) This is the link:
http://www.transilien.com/web/site/accueil/citylien/forfaits-loisirs/Chateau-de-Versailles
St Germain de Pres at night
Day 5 and 6 are open for anything we did not get a chance to see, souvenirs, relaxing at a cafe, etc. If we have covered everything in the first 4 days, we are considering taking a day trip to London via the Eurostar. Just an option. Enjoy Paris! |

I went in May and I bought the 2 day museum pass which cost about 30-40 u.s. I saw alot in those two days bc it includes other attractions like the Eifle Tower not just museums. Plus with the pass, you bypass the lineups. The following are my favorite places that I visited, some you need a pass and some you don't:
Sacre Coure
Arc du Triomphe
Louvre
Musuee D'Orsay
L'Orangerie
Jurden du Tuilieries
Street of Champs Elysee (tons of shops)
Rodin Museum
Seine River cruise at night
Notre Dome
Eifle Tower
you can also go to www.frommers.com for a list of the attractions. it gives a brief description, cost, hours, and nearest metro. |

1-Louvre museum
2-Orsay & Pompideu- Moulin Rouge burlesque
3-Eurodisney/ Asterix Parks
4-Latin Quartier,Montmatre & Senna by Night
5-Versalles Castle
6-Rodin Museum
I had lived 3 months in Paris, dont miss a meal at Le Boucherie near St .Eustaque Church, Blvd. Saint Germain with a delicious menu of 10 euros.
You can book a nice hotel near Sancon Daubenton, clean , private and with a good breakfast. is registred as a Hostel B&B.
The best souvenirs are in the stores near the Louvre Museum,in the right side of the Place de la Concorde.
Try their tasty coffee.

Have a look on the links below. i went a few weeks ago but was only there for 2 nights. the lourve was amazing but leave plenty of time to see it and go early it opens arounfd 7.30-8.30 i think. notre dame is pretty good to. Be careful when walkin around as there are a lot of scams on in the parks on bridges. - a bloke will come ask u to put out ur finger and make a bracelet then wants twenty euros for it. also people in pairs or on their own will seemingly pic a ring or money of the floor and distract u ask for money or pick ur pockets. -don't let it put u off i had a great time especially watching the scammers picking there targets in front as ur walking along. if u have a digital camera make sure u have a decent sized memory card as there are so many beautiful buildings and gardens. |
