Paris in January?
I have planned to visit Paris for 6 days on January 19. Because of work, it's the only time of the year that I have available. Is the timing OK? I have booked a Museum Pass and a Metro Pass to get around. Anything else you recommend?
it can be cold and rainy, so pack appropriately. i also recommend the rodin nuseum, often overlooked gem of a museum

HI,
I live in the USA, but i'm from france and i lived in paris for 8 years, there are so many things to do...you can go to" le quartier chatelet" you will find a good atmosphere. Go to "la villette", the street "Champs Elysee". It's hard too answer you because I don't now what are the things you like. I think you should grab a couples of book and make your own chose...It's more fun.
I hope you have good time, bon voyage
take care.

If you visit Notre-Dame, take some time to go in the towers. The view there, and especially the gargoyles, are very impressive !
