sorry, the links are mainly in french :-(

1. Roughly i would say that there is one people by car to go the job, 2 by car the week end, but many people use the public transportation. Average size of a household : 2,35 to 2.43 persons.

2. Higher class in general. About +30% salary. (see link)

3. Oh yes ! But weddings decline in the last ten years.
about 50,000 a year and 25,000 divorces :-)

4. to buy yes, to build it will be more difficult. Thy the link.

5,3 estimation based on the following link : http://www.le-mariage.com/statistiques.htm and that population of paris is 16% of France.

Paris is like any other major metropolis of the world

cars range from 2 seat sport cars to mini vans... (althought there are very few large suv's) most cars will seat 5 adults

there is a majority of working middle class people in paris with an average income for skilled workers at around 40-45 000 Euros a year

i would say there are alot of weddings in paris because of the hollywood notion of how romantic paris is

yes on a recent visit to Paris there were for lease and sale signs on various buildings so i will assume that the real estate market is fairly open and strong

hope i have helped :)
