I was in Paris late Friday(7/6) night, early Saturday(7/7) morning and there were literally hundreds of rollerbladers outside my hotel room window on the streets. Anyone know what this was?? Was it national rollerblading day or were they making some sort of statement? Real curious.
Its the regular Friday night skate. It starts around 10 every Friday at the Place D'Italie and anyone can just show up and join in. Its gotten so big that there is a police unit that skates along with the group.
