There are rather a lot of rooms at Versailles and they are much like the rooms you would expect in any residence only much larger and very ornate. One significant omission is that the original palace had no bathrooms as it was built before the invention of modern indoor plumbing.

There was the Hall of Mirrors, the bedrooms of Louis XIV, the sitting areas, the music rooms, the play areas.... you should be able to find alot of info on this very famous palace.
