I am going to france this june and I'm wondering if I should take the elevator ride up to the Eiffel Tower. Also do you know of any discounts to ride the tower. Thanks
You have to, it's a classic! You don't want to always think back on your trip on how you never went to the top.
Dude!
Totally do it. I was the only one out of our group who did go to the top in 2005. I still hear from the others today how they wish they had done it. Great view of the city, especially at night.
No info on discounts, but I don't remember it being too pricey.

If you're young and in good shape I recommend the stairs. If not take the elevators. There is another high rise in Paris with a great view of the city, the tour Montparnasse, but it doesn't have the same cachet and it is not next to the river.

Yes. I mean, it is soooo long to walk up the stairs.
