Should I take the elevator ride to Eiffel Tower?

I am going to france this june and I'm wondering if I should take the elevator ride up to the Eiffel Tower. Also do you know of any discounts to ride the tower. Thanks

You have to, it's a classic! You don't want to always think back on your trip on how you never went to the top.

Totally do it. I was the only one out of our group who did go to the top in 2005. I still hear from the others today how they wish they had done it. Great view of the city, especially at night.

No info on discounts, but I don't remember it being too pricey.

If you're young and in good shape I recommend the stairs. If not take the elevators. There is another high rise in Paris with a great view of the city, the tour Montparnasse, but it doesn't have the same cachet and it is not next to the river.

Yes. I mean, it is soooo long to walk up the stairs.

Hi I'm french and I'm going to this summer first of all the view breathtaking second of all if you will be there in June I suggest you go for Bastille Day and lastly the stairs are closed Have Fun
