In the 1700s, France had a revolution and pretty well slaughtered the nobility (this includes the king and queen). Since then, France has been one of the earliest Western democracies. As such, they have no recognized nobility other than those that claim nobility (with no real benefits).
So, no, there is no queen or what. There is a prime minister and Parliament. |
