It's one of the largest museums in Europe. A unique collection of paitings, scultures and art works. They have the famous Monaliza by DaVinci (La Joconde), a large collection of Pharaonic and Islamic artworks. It's a must see if u pass by Paris.

Yes, I know something about the Louvre. If you need information, you should probably visit their website posted above.

Some general info?

It's closed on Tuesdays
It's near the Royal Palais
It's near the Jardin des Tulieries
It has the Mona Lisa
It has the Venus De Milo
The Pyramids were designed by IM Pei
It plays a major role in The DaVinci Code
It used to be a Castle
The remains of the Castle are in the 'basement'
It's very, very, very large
You cannot take photos of the Mona Lisa
They have an extensive food court that contains food from around the world
