This is for the people who travel. Which place you thought was more romantic Venice or Paris and why?

In my opinion, it's a toss, and I have been to both cities.

Both cities are very beautiful, each in their own way. I think Venice is really unique, but Paris has a lot more things to do and see and try.

San Marco Plaza, and all the canals and palazzo are really beautiful... But then again, seeing the Eiffel Tower shine and sparkle at night is something wonderful. And Paris also has its share of beautiful old buildings, parks and churches. Not to mention beautiful neighborhoods, such as Montmartre.

Good food is definitely in abundance in Paris, while Venice is, perhaps, a bit less interesting in this regard (while still offering delicious food & restaurants).

So... sorry if this does not help. For a short stay (4+ days), I think Venice is probably going to give you more romance for your bucks. If you have more time, let's say 7+ days, Paris is probably more interesting.

Both cities are incredibly beautiful anyway.

i think paris is more romantic cuz i think its more beautiful. and, since i come from paris but never lived there. and italian surrounding is much more nice and french are kinda silly and greedy. anyways, italians more sophisticated and nice.
