France is famous for its castles, among other things. The Loire Valley and the center of France have some of the best known:

Here's another one, but in the southwest of France:

The Eiffel Tower, go sit in some of those grassy areas and relax with the youth of France. I took a nap there and it was awesome. It's nice to sit and take it all in.
The Louvre to get the history that is in France
Champs Elysees to see the shops and clothes.
Notre Dame de Paris is gorgeous inside.
Arc de Triumph is down the Champs Elysees and go to the top for awesome pictures of Paris
Arc de Defense is a cool picture

Go get lost and listen to the culture, it is beautiful.

Are we talking France or Paris?

Paris - you've had some good answers already.

France - wow, just three? It's a big place you know and each region is so different to the next. I love the Alps - climb a mountain and just take in nature in all its glory. Alsace is so beautiful and quaint with it's quirky houses, storks on the chimneys and geraniums in window boxes. Les Landes for it's long sandy beaches...

There are so many more than 3 that it's hard to choose. Here are some possible combinations:

1- Eiffel Tower http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eiffel_Tower
2- Mont St-Michel http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mont_St_Michel
3- Pont du Gard http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pont_du_Gard

or

1- Notre Dame Cathedral http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Notre_Dame_de_Paris
2- One of the Loire Valley Castles http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loire_Valley
3- Carcassonne http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carcassonne

Paris Traveler
Paris, City of Lights and love, Eiffel Tower and other monuments and museums, art, culture and alive with people and activities. Arguably the most beautiful city in the world.

Versailles, most amazing palace of the Kings and representative of the lavish lifestyle of the rich and explaines why the people revolted against them. Living history in a huge palace on beautiful property and landscaping, fountains and statues.

Normandy, D-day Beaches and the cemetaries of the World War II soldiers. Very somber reminder of the war and its toll and also a memorial to the brave soldiers from the allied countries who gave their lives to save Europe and the world from Hitler.

There's more, but your said three and for me those are the top three.

1. eiffel tower...because its the eiffel tower duh.
2. walk down the champs elysses... really good for shopping, actually quite famous for it.
3. notre dame... as in the hunchback of notre dame (depending on when you go you can sometimes walk along the roof with the gargoyles which is amazing)
