Trip to Italy and France? :/?

I'm a kid who is going to Italy and France on this educational tour for two weeks. The only person I know going is my cousin. I've never even been on a plane before, nevermind out of the United States! I do speak French though

I'M WORRIED, but i think it would be terrible to turn down this offer. Any advice? General things I should be aware of?

Trust me don't turn down the offer. Ive been on a school trip that went to france and italy and i will never ever forget it. I only had one relative going with me also and i had a blast! And it will be great that you can speak french.

Just stay with you group and if you have free time ask a bigger number of people in the group that are with eachother and tag along with them, they won't mind.
Wear your bag in front of you when your on the subway just for saftey reasons like pickpocketers. Nothing i've ever had to deal with, but just to be on the safe side.

As for the plane ride take a motion sickness medicine before you get on the plane.
BRING GUM!! trust me you want this to chew while your on the plane. It helps keep the air pressure from making your hears feel plugged.
And also everytime i have gone to france we had our own tv's built in so watching movies will help pass the time and so will sleeping.

You will have so much fun!! For packing bring a small suitcase, you never know when an elevator will be broken and you'll have to lug your suitcase up flights of stairs, not fun lol.
I also pack things that when i wear them once or twice on the trip i can throw them away. Leaves alot of room for sovuiners.

GO!! and HAVE FUN!!
you won't regret it :)

Absolutely do NOT turn down such a great opportunity. If you are going on an educational tour you will meet lots of other people in your tour. Is it EF Tours by chance? If so they are AWESOME. I'm a teacher and took some students on one and I had a great time.
You will have so much fun and you should definitely speak French when you can.

Don't wear shorts in Italy, makes you really stand out as a tourist.
