In Paris, NO problem: WALK! Beautiful summer to do so!

Also use Public transport, safe and not expensive. Even from CDG/Charles de Gaulle you can take the AirFrance bus for Euros10 each way to the Arc of Triumph!

Check the ISIC site (below) to see if you are eligible to the ISIC card for discounts!

To any other city, always by train including the TGV (high speed train)

tricky one ,but been there done that.
paris is amazing .its the summer and its a season(expensive).
but there is lots to do ,a lot of outdoor stff for free ,just make sure u know whats going on by asking a local or get online ,get some cheap wine in ur system ,get a bottle and hang out in the mumart area by the stairs youll find great view of paris and live music too .
the best thing to do in paris is walk around ,im sure ull have fun ,and if ur single hopfully ull meet a cute parisian who will be more than welcome to take you out .dont worry bout being broke ,i just hope u have money for food.try to get a museam pass for students so u can use it more than once ,which means u need to have some kind of student id,an international one ,also get a monthly student pass for the subway ,ull be fine ,dont worry and just enjoy being in paris!!!

You can take a walk along the Seine... then walk back along the other side!

Visit Notre Dame and Sacre Couer - both are beautiful and incredible examples of architecture and both are free to enter.

Pack a picnic lunch and have lunch at Trocadero. Take off your shoes, roll up your trouser cuffs and have a splash in the fountains.

Stretch out at the Tuilleries and admire the outdoor sculptures and the flowers.

Go to the Eiffel Tower and sit below it. Look straight up through the centre. It's better than going to the top and looking down.

Wander through the Latin Quarter, dance to street music, browse the book stalls along the river, meet new people, learn the language, have a blast!

If you are students and under 26 then you can get a lot of discounts to museums and for metro passes. Be sure and do your homework and find out about these things.

Go to the study abroud center in your college and get leads from them.

just go walking... hope that her boyfriend will cook for yall every night and provide necessities in case yall run out. yall are might brave traveling to paris without any money. i am also a broke college student and i couldn't imagine traveling right now. there is no way i would be able to survive.

steve
see the sites, they can't charge for enjoying a landmark's beuty. And don't worry about tours, if you have two feet and a map then you are well off. As long as you have enough for food and free time you will have a great time enjoy

Just walk along the Seine, it's beautiful. Also, check out a bunch of the cool churches that are mostly free. Some of the museums, like the Louvre, have discounted prices on certain days or after certain hours. Also, if you splurge on something, go to the top of the Arc de Triomphe. It has an even better view of the city than the Eiffel Tower. If you go walk around the district of Montmartre, you will be pleasantly surprised. There is a beautiful basilica there and tons of little cafes and shops. It's an artsy area too so there are lots of artists out and about.
