Languedoc-Rousillian region is wonderful - try carcassone - best preserved medieval city in the world, close to Black Mountains, Pyrenees and Andorra. Lots of spectacular scenery with a couple of hours drive. Sea around 1 1/2 hrs drive. More to do than you could possibly fit in 2 weeks. After that suggest Nice, great beach and close to Alps but with much different scenery. |

french Riviera, Perpignan on the Spanish side of France, Loire, Dordogne. Try Euro-camp they have campsites all over France. |

I would suggest flights to Nice (NCE) and then a few days in Menton which should fit the bill perfectly.

The south of France is nice on the Mediterranean. There l;ots of camping sites there. Call in a tour opperators. Also Nauntes, west of paris.
