UK VS France or Ridiculous rivalry ?

Salut les British !

I am a french woman, I like UK but I love my country too! My mother was english but she loved France and naturalized french.

So one of my english friends said me :
UK is great to work and to make business
France is great for life and to breed children

I agree with him but I live and work in France and I am happy

Personaly UK and France are not perfect countries, in these countries we find advantages and inconveniences.

Sorry for faults

Thank you for answers, Merci

@Verité : La GB n'est pas un paradis mais ce n'est pas non plus un enfer, il y a des bonnes choses chez les British
J'avoue que malheureusement la situation se dégrade chez eux mais c'est partout ailleurs.
Aucun pays n'est parfait

i agree, why are we still getting mad about something that was started hundreds of years ago, i think it's time to get over it. it's childish. bth country have their posotives and negatives, just like every other country and that's a fact of life, and i believe that both countries are beautiful in their own way.

We are friends, friends are always competitive, that is the way of the world...

France is better place to live I'd say. Easier to run a business in UK as the workers have less rights but getting to be a worse place to live all the time.

Bianca
France is more pleasant. better weather, better food, hotter guys
I think the UK has a better economy, and well thats about it really lol

i lived in England and really as a french woman i prefer France ; it is sunnier; more friendly; good food; good cinemas, theatres, museums in england i was always cold and always a foreigner!:-)

So, what is the question? I have never subscribed to the belief that all French people hate the British and vice versa. I have been fluent in French for many years and have always enjoyed my visits to France.
