I haven't been there but I found the local tourist office website and the page listing such lakes.

You can then google any of the names and get more practical info or contact the tourist office directly. I find it a little difficult to imagine they would have disabled access but hopefully I am wrong. Good luck! |

Most swimming venues in France,, including volcanic and subterranean, have disabled access - it's getting out of them that is the problem. |

Here is an article on the Cantal, which establishes that it's located towards the southern end of central France. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cantal I hope that helps.
