The city: beautiful. Full of lights and nice people everywhere. Modern but still has parts of town that have been kept in the old style for historical purposes

Paris, France is like any other major city. It's completely modern, but there's the international road system which includes the signs that you'll need to be familiar with. Paris is extremely busy but there is so so so much to see there too. The layout of the town is sorta weird, like, it's not really that greatly organized, with roads going every which way, they have traffic circles, which are nice to keep the flow of traffic moving.

Depends on what part of Paris you go to. Some parts are beautiful especially on the left bank, streets lined with little cafes and artisits. In other areas especially around the L'Arc De Triupmh not only does it smell awful because of all the pollution the cars spit out but its also filthy, lots of garbage lying in the streets.

Apart from that the rest is just a culture shock, just remeber to carry your own toilet paper and you'll be fine! No i'm not joking there's rarely toilet paper in public rest rooms!

It's absolutely gorgeous, if you like older cities with beautiful buildings. The people are friendly and warm, if you attempt to speak their language. The smell of fresh baked breads is amazing.
