What's a clean and not expensive hotel in Paris I can stay in for 7 nights?
I'm going to France this summer after landing in London. I'll be taking the Eurostar to the Gare du Nord station in Paris. I want a clean hotel that is located close to the station and I want it to be in a safe area because I'm going with my friend and we are both 19 years old. The most I can pay for one double bed is 80 dollars. Yea, I'm on a tight budget.
A great place to stay and not expensive at all is the Lux Hotel. It is located between Place de La Nation and Bastille, facing the charming Courteline Garden, with easy metro access, metro line 6 direct to the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. The metro is less than 100 meters away the hotel. Very safe location.
Rooms are clean, fully equipped, with shower and free wi-fi.
The price for 2 persons is between 50 and 59 euro.

I think the Chopin Hotel would perfectly fit your budget and location.
You have bedrooms at 76euros for one night and it is located not to far away from Gare du Nord but in a very cool neighborhood.

You have an english presentation at the bottom of the home page, plus rates are in the section called "tarifs".

There is no good reason to stay close to the station. Paris is a very compact city and public transportation is the best in the world. Staying close to the station makes absolutely no sense whatever.
$80 is about 60 euros. A very small sum for an expensive city that is the most visited tourist destination in the world.
I suggest the Hotel Tiquetonne at 6 rue Tiquetonne in the 2nd arrondissement. that's a good central location and a safe neighborhood. You can get a double for 55 euros. This is about as cheap as a real Hotel (as opposed to a Hostel) gets. they have no internet presence and they are often fully booked so you MUST reserve in advance.
