What's the best transportation (efficient & cost efficient) from the eurostar to central hotels in paris?

also, the same to and from airport (charles du gulle).

Eurostar arrives at Gare du Nord in the 10th arrondissment. This would be considered central Paris. There are, in addition to taxis, Metro, RER and bus stops there.

Since it appears you will not be traveling very far from the station, it might be most efficient to take a taxi. No doubt the cost will be greater than getting on the Metro but assuming you will have some luggage the few extra euros will be worth it.

To get to or from CDG airport from central Paris you take the RER B line. To or from inside Paris the cost is 8.40 euros.

The Eurostar arrival is in the centre of Paris. Just take the metro (ligne 4) and you will reach central hotels within minutes.

public transport, using the metro. (That assumes you do not have a ton of luggage.)

Well, the best efficient and cost efficient is WALK.

The good thing about the Eurostar is that you arrive in the center of Paris, and could find an hotel near by.

For an hotel near by:

Drop your luggage there, and start moving around the city via Metro or even better Velib.

Velib is a system of "public transport" lending bike for Free (30 minutes).
There are stations all around Paris.

For CDG Airport, take RER B. Quick, cheap and easy :)

Enjoy your stay :)
