I know that you can ship books, movies, etc...media mail through the U.S Postal Service within the U.S. and it is very cheap...not sure if they will ship media mail to other countries though. Might want to check with your local post office.

I would have to say parcel post (by boat, then vehicle), but they will not receive the package for approximately six to eight weeks...sometimes more.

Air mail is the best method, but definitely not the cheapest.

The US post offers very inexpensive media mail. Confirm this with the post cuz someone told me it's been cancelled recently. Ask for an M-bag and they should give you a giant nylon sack with a drawstring and some special labels. Put the books in a sealed cardboard box, and put the box in the bag. between 4 and 20 weeks later, you should get your stuff at about a buck a pound.
