i went to paris in june with my school...we only went for 2 days and could of done with an extra day.
if you're staying outside the city centre you need to set off reaaaally early. we had to be at the lourve for 9:30 we didnt get there until alomst 10:30 because of all the traffic....so we couldn't spend too long in there....it is a really nice museum...i thought it would be really boring but it wasnt. i mean i go to an all girls school and there were 104 girls on the trip and we were all pretty entertained in there!! although everyone goes to the eifell tower it is worth it. the view is amazing from the top...and there were sooo many hot guys!! the sacre couer is nice....not much inside but its nice to look at....same with the notre dame!! a boat ride on the river seine is nice in the evening as the sun is going down!! there were also sooooo many nice looking shops which we coildnt go in down the champs-elyees....all very expenisve looking aswell sadly! on the second day we had a day at disneyland.....this really is just a must do experiance!! i've been with my family before. but those to days are the most fun i have had in my life!! just enjoy it as much as you can. paris is a lovely place. but as a group of 104 15 year old girls we got quite a lot of male attention. this can be a good thing or a bad thing they all seemed very lovely...so we didn't complain too much! there were a few pervy wierdos on the metro though....so just stay alert if you travel on it. but most importantly just have fun!!! sorry i've rambled a bit here!! |

It's been a long time since I've been there, but I can think of the following:
Eiffel Tower
Notre Dame cathedral
Louvre
the church of Sacre Couer
river boat trip
Please excuse my French if I got the spelling wrong. I'm sure there are many more things to see, but this is what stands out in my memory. I think the Versailles palace is near Paris and is worthwhile seeing as well. |

i went to paris and there were floods so all the museums and suchlike had huge queues outside which i couldnt be bothered standing in - so i went on a tour of the sewers
yes you heard me right, i went on a tour of the underground sewers, it wasnt even that pongy and they had the names of all the streets above on the walls. i hate to admit it but it was interesting!
i say i went on an alternative tour of paris if anyone asks what i did when i went lol |

picopico mentioned the best places. Problemwith the Eifel Tower is there is a very long wait to get to the top. If you want an aerial view of Paris I suggest the Montpanasse Building. It's taller. |

Eiffel Tower, The Louvre (get there early the lines build fast) The fashion district is always fun, though unaffordable if your net worth is any thing less then Paris Hilton's. |

Take one of those cruises down the Seine -- very relaxing and a great way to take in the sights. One of my most favorite things to do is, at night, go to the big Printemps department store and head to the top floor, find the stairs for the roof (you have to kinda look for it) and check out one of the most amazing views of the city! |

Of course Notre Dame, but also the Musee d'Orsay: Awesome building (an old train station) and even the kids liked it, which says a lot! |
