I lived in Paris for 6 months almost 2 years ago....my favourite place in the city?? There is no single place that is my favourite!! The entire city is the greatest place in the world! I dunno by your question if you are visiting the city or have already been there, but you or anyone else going to Paris MUST go to the Sacre Coeur! It is Surreal! |

When I lived in Paris I use to love walking through the latin quarters to the Notre Dame and Hotel de Ville ... I love the view of the Siene from Hotel de Ville especially in winter. |

I really love the gardens, but strolling through the Marais is my favorite area. But Place Vosges and Pere-Lechaise were also great, too. There is so much that's great...even walking along the Seine. Favorite place? Anywhere in Paris is MY favorite!! |

I really love the Palais Royal. It's beautiful when everything is green. It's also beautiful in the winter when you can see how the trees have been manicured with very straight lines. I like the odd metal pieces of art that have been different every time I've been to Paris. I love the striped pillars nearby, and the shady arcades on each side. |

I've been to Paris once, and as cliche as it is, I loved hanging out on the lawns of champs de Mars in the late days of summer and having a small picnic (fresh stuff picked up from the market along the way) and some cold drinks :) That memory will stay imprinted in my head forever, but I also loved all the little streets, the uphills and downhills in Montmartre, the many many cafes all around the city, all the bridges along the Seine and the stands near Notre Dame. Like someone mentioned already, it's hard to pick just one place! I want to go back!! |

I love all the little parks and cathedrals you find "hidden" all over the city. My fav park is Buttes Chaumont. Sainte Chappelle (near Notre Dame) is gorgeous on a sunny day. Place du Tertre in Montmartre is a tourist trap but fascinating at the same time and Montmartre is gorgeous in general.
My fav smaller museum is the Rodin Museum. |
