Well, if you're Muslim, it's an up and coming Islamic nation. If you enjoy fine dining, the French are world famous. And the wine from France is supposed to be among the best in the world. If you don't like to work too hard, they have a 35 hour work week before overtime is due. Although I heard that may be changing. You are very close to so many wonderful cultures if you lived in France. Plus I imagine the beaches are unbelievable. You'd be in one of the world's foremost powers since the latter half of the 17th century. In the 18th and 19th centuries, France built one of the largest colonial empires of the time, stretching across West Africa and Southeast Asia, prominently influencing the cultures and politics of the regions. France is a developed country, with the sixth (nominal GDP) or eighth (PPP) largest economy in the world. It is the most visited country in the world, receiving 82 million foreign tourists annually. France is one of the founding members of the European Union, and has the largest land area of all members. France is a founding member of the United Nations, and a member of the G8, NATO, and the Latin Union. It is one of the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and a nuclear power with active warheads and nuclear power plants.

35 hour work week, 5 weeks of vacation/year (minimum) and great health insurance!

not to mention delicous food and wine!

Cabal
To all those slobbering over the 35 hours week, just a caveat. This is for low level employees. If you climb up in the hierarchy you first have a 10 hours unpaid overtime added and if you become a manager (cadre dirigeant) you lose any right to the 35 hours or even to paid overtime. 45 hours a week is a minimum for me and I am far from the only one.
