What activities would teenagers enjoy in Paris?

I am taking my younger sister and her friends to Paris for a week and a half during their spring break. They are all eight graders and will have a year and a half of French lessons by then. I want it to be educational as well as fun. Also, we're on a budget.

It will be my younger sister and two friends.
Additional Details
Note: I have been to Paris before for a 3-month long stretch. My younger sister and her friends have never been there.

Of course, even younger people should see all the standard tourist sights if for no other reason than that they can then one up most of their friends when watching some TV show or a movie which is set in Paris by shouting "I've been there!" So yeah, make sure they see the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur, the Opera Garnier, etc etc.

Go check out the big plaza in front of the Centre Pompidu (Which contains the Museum of Modern Art). On most sunny afternoons you'll find all sorts of street entertainers there. Among these will almost always be some guys doing big involved audience participation comedy bits. When they call for volunteers (and they always do) don't hesitate to stand up (or encourage the others to do so). The fact that you probably don't speak French well enough to entirely grasp what is going on will be NO problem. These guys tend to be very good and very funny. You'll all have a great time and if you can have someone snap a picture you'll have a great story to tell when you get home (and a photo to prove it).

If you're really adventurous and bring your skates along you can join in the Friday night skate. Hundreds, sometimes thousands of people all get together to skate thru the streets of Paris accompanied by a Police squad on wheels and an ambulance to deal with any potnetial accidents. The route changes every week. The detaols are here: http://www.pari-roller.com/index.php?p=101

Also fun for youngsters is La Cité des Sciences et de l'Industrie in the Parc de la Villette. It includes all sorts of interactive exhibits and experiences. You can pilot an airplane, step inside of a camera, travel throughout the human body, visit the Ariane rocket, and such. The Argonaute a real attack submarine is there to be explored and there is also a huge geodesic dome with an Omnimax movie theatre equiped with a 1000 square metre screen. Get there on the Metro to the Porte de la Villette station. See their website for more information: http://www.cite-sciences.fr/francais/indexLIGHT.php

A couple museums, of course the Effiel Tower.
Resturants
and nothing beats a nice walk, or tour bus ride (:

oh, and somewhere where they can buy a couple of things, like an out-door market.
Make sure they get intact with the culture.

I took my 12 and 16 year old children to Paris a few years ago. They enjoyed Notre Dame, the Louvre (especially Mona Lisa), the Eiffell tower, and a ride on the Seine in a Bat-o-bus. There is a nice shopping mall in the LaDafence district (take the metro there-green line I think. The mall is modern and reasonably priced. From there, you can ride the France railway out to the Palais de Versailles for an afternoon. The kids loved that!! Have fun. I love Paris. Bon Voyage.

Looking for clean drinking water can be very challenging.
