And I am looking for a really nice restaurant to take her to afterwards. Any ideas? I am ideally looking for somewhere along the river with a budget of up to 300 euros, or £250. I would be grateful ...

Usual things go up the Eiffel Tower, go see the Mona Lisa in Le Louvre, go have a look at Notre Dam on the isle de Paris, Have a look at the crazy drivers around the Arch de Triumph but you could go to the egots de Paris (a catacombs of hundreds of skulls) but Most of Paris is interesting it is just a shame they are soooooo rude.

Taste all the cheese and try the Absinthe. That is what I would do.

Depends on what you like. If the weather's nice, visit Pere Lachaise.

So many options
Eiffel Tower late at night, (preferably a clear night)
Pont Des Arts, just because it is so beautiful
Renault Atelier Restaurant on the Champs, amazing food
Sacre Coeur at dusk with a bottle of wine on the hill, awesome views if it's clear
Walk through the Tuileries Gardens
There is so much to do and see...just walk around and explore, it's so easy to just amble from place to place in Paris. If you get a chance, take a boat trip down the Seine, they are cheap and really good, Bateau Mouche is my fave!

it depends what you enjoy doing. I have been a few times and visited a good few places. my favourite ones were:
Le Musee d'Orsay
L'Opera Garnier
Le Madeleine
La Basilique du Sacre Coeur
Notre Dame
Champs Elysee and Place de Concorde
Montmartre

Geeza Sooka Yerlips
Abseil down the Eiffel Tower in the nude.

Go To Buddha Bar (by the Elysee) very hip, need to reserve (just call them up).
Mornings you might want to stroll around the Sacre-Coeur if the weather is good.

Hi, I'm a Breton living in Paris.

Well I don't know what you mean by "amazing", it could be to have dinner in a French restaurant. You might find good things here
http://www.french-at-a-touch.com/French/french_restaurants.htm

You can visit the Beaubourg museum or the Arab World Institute, which are not the traditionnal parisian style.

You can visit the castle of Vaux-le-vicomte on saturday evening, it is lightened with candles if i do remember correctly.

Because amazing can mean also to visit the "banlieues" (suburbs) where there were some riots last year.
(dont do it .. just kidding ... nothing special to see there)

Well, you have also the "catacombes" where are plenty of bones from people who died during the French revolution and after.

You might go clubbing in "La Loco" ...or "Le Queen", but I think that british clubs are better ... personally, i dont like clubbing, so i'm not the best on this.

You could also try a little forro party (it is a brazilian dance, in couple, for example, near "Rambuteau", rue de Braque in 4th arrondissement, on sunday evening)

Dont go to Versailles in november, unless you want to see all the interiors. But the garden is not worth it .. all the flowers have been removed before winter.

Depends who you're going with...

Hang around in Saint Germain and Saint Michel before getting for a pub crawl in Saint Germain, in places like "Chez George", "Coolin", "La Pinte", and finish yourself in the mad atmosphere of "Le pousse au crime". The day after, once you've recovered from hangover, head to Bastille in the evening and go for another pub crawl on the rue de Lappes, and check the "Trucmush", before heading to Rex Club, on one of the Grands Boulevards. Drink! Girls! ;o)

Go to the arc du triomphe- the views are amazing, and everyone forgets you can go to the top of it! I'd also recommend Notre Dame Cathedral and the Sacre coeur church (on the hill) as both are lovely to look around... I wasnt impressed with the louvre, although the glass pyramid is really cool! I also had a really nice Mc Donalds on the first day we got there (I'm a poor student, you'll probably be able to afford proper food!)

Go to the palace of Versailles, for a walk on a Sunday. The grounds of the palace are some of the biggest in the world. 20 miles by 5 miles. They are so beautiful. Entry to the grounds is free.

The palace is amazing - all marble and gold built by Louis XIV to compete with the Pope's vatican - its amazing. You have to pay for entry though.

PS. If you can't walk round the whole grounds, you can rent a bicycle in the grounds of the palace for a couple of francs
