What are (if any) the benefits to living in France vs. the USA? It seem more and more celeb's are doing so? ?

I disagree with your premise that "more and more celeb's" are moving to France from the USA.

If anything the steady pattern of movement of those who might be termed "celebrities" (actors, musicians, sports figures) from all countries tends to be towards the USA as that is where the money is and that is country where you get to keep the largest portion of what you earn.

well its alot easier lifestyle and also they can get to places easily like london is just an 1 train ride from gare de lyon in paris and you can also get alot more great stuff like they have hot baguets at 7 evrey night you also get alot more exersise

well, in France you get a more stable economy, a less stressing life, a much more decent and affordable health care system , with physicians who care about their patients instead of the wallet, better and healthier food ( not full of hormones). basically a lot healthier life. Furthermore over there you are not subjected to the lies and bad choices of politics.

because people think that the grass is greener here, but it's not. Everyone talks about the 35 hour week, but you should know that it's not for everybody, we're not all civil servants. And I heard that employees in the US have more big week ends than we do. And about the quality of life, it's all a matter of money; people say we have the mountain, the sea... but do you think we all have money to go there? no! it's very expensive. Many people can't find a job of more than 20h/week, what do you want to do with that? you can't go skiing, go to the French riviera, visit the historic places or even buy the "great French food"...it's like living in a golden cage where you can't enjoy anything. I think it's always better to live in a country like the US or England where there's less unemployment.

Maybe sun, food, a cheaper life (?), art de vivre, quietness (people don't always recognize them).

Quality of life, I suppose but also better for taxes for them to !!!!

Also as normal citizen I will never live in US I think my quality of life in France is much better that in the US (6 weeks holiday, good medical support, very cheap universities, better food quality, unemployed support, good retirement, etc..)

As an American living in France...I can tell you some of the things that I really like.
--a 35 hour work week
--really good health insurance (although they do mislead a bit, unless you have supplementary insurance not much is covered at the eye doctor, dentist, etc.)
--at least 6 weeks of paid vacation per year
--very good social benefits (rent help, unemployment)

Somethings I don't like
--everything is very expensive (VAT of almost 20%!!)
--high unemployment
--lower salaries than in the US
--shops closing early and not being open on Sundays

Yogi
look and see just how long they stay in that country. if it is under 180 days then they don't pat tax there and they are not staying in the US state more than 180 days so it all boils down too paying tax. They have figured out out to run from it and let the little guy pay for it and they keep getting more money. Smart move the little guy will not make enough to enjoy the perks.
