im (hopefully) getting an french exchange student in a few months and then going back to live with them for 3 months. id like to know what they wear, listen to, talk about, hang out etc? like do french teenagers tend to drink/smoke a lot or not to drink/smoke at all etc?
Additional Details
First, get it right, its not american, its CANADIAN, basically like saying your from italy when youre from france. secondly, I travel a lot, and everywhere i've been teenagers have been different from canadian teenagers, britain, greece, italy, turkey, egypt, germany, everywhere, so i know thats not true. |

ok some teenagers smoke, some teenagers drink but not much that the other country...
They talk about fashion, music, dailymotion and youtube... They listen french and americain music (pop, hip hop, crunk, electro, not country). |

the chick on the bottom is dumb because it is beaucoup soo. And typically the clothes are very similar, except from that region more high quality and stylish. think ambercrombie and fitch. You don't typically see sweats or ripped jeans on the streets of Paris. |

Hello,
Firstly, it depends what kind of teenager you gonna meet. We'll say that they're pretty intelligent because you'll be here for a school exchange.
Most of French teenagers follow the fashion attitude. Nowadays, the most "in vogue" clothes style is the TEKTONIK style. It's a combination of Punk, Hip hop style. They look quiet strange.
Then u have the tipcally Parisian style: Little sweat with a jean and a shirt with smarty shoes.
In fact I think we are quite close from the canadian teenager.
French teenager love make parties and smoke joints. We're the european country where there is the most important community of Smokers... They could be sometimes agressive too but it's up to you to stay with the people u want and you feel right!!!
