Hi,
I went in August and am going back Next month..can't wait. As other answer said there can often be very long cues for rides unless your going in low season. It depends what rides your interested in and if you have young children or not.
If you or whoever is going with you is a thrill seeker I woudl suggest: pirates of the caribbean, Indiana jones, thunder mountain, space mountain and Aerosmith rollercoaster (in disney studios)
If you like the more relaxing but equally enjoying rides, i would deffinately recommend Peter Pan's flight, a small world after all, casey jnr train ride, even the flying dumbos..there is so much to see and do in disney.
also the phantom manor, is good too, its not very scary but has some great affects!
In the disney studios, i found it was the best place to meet characters. get a map as you enter disneyland and check to see the times and places certain characters will be around, as many people have the false notion that everywhere you turn you will bump into them....however if your going next month that maybe the case as Disneyland Resort paris celebrates it's 15th birthday. In disney studios, Gene's carpet ride is good but if your limited to time taking a ride on this is nearly exactly the same as dumbo. If you are taking any men with you, or you yourself are big into cars there is a motor car stunt show on...however it only happens afew times a day and each sitting lasts btw 30mins to watch...or more so it may eat into time if you don't have much.
In the evenings after both parks close there is the Disneyvilliage full of shops, discos, resturants and a cinema.
There is also one of the worlds biggest passenger hot air ballon, which you can take a ride on (during the day) and don't forget to pop into planet hollywood and take a look at the outside of it, featuring the handprints of loads of celebrities who have visited the resort!
Also check out times for parades both in the disneyland park and the disney studios.
i hope that's helped abit and if you have any questions feel free to email me x |

Disneyland Paris is usually very crowded and unless you are willing to spend at least 3-4 days there, it's not worth a visit. Visitors have to wait sometimes for as long as 90 minutes to 2 hours to enter an attraction or a ride. Regardless- the Space Mountain, Peter Pan's Flight, Small World are some of the attractions I liked....and there's also Indiana Jones railway. Take your pick....everything is best provided you have the time to see and do them. Dont miss on the Walt Disney Studios theme park next door. Both the places have a train ride but the one in the studio is better- with special effects and not for the weak hearted. Its a good idea to take an autograph book and a couple of pens if traveling with kids to get it signed by cartoon characters. The late afternoon parades are excellent and worth taking a video. But...the place is very crowded, especially over the weekends, French and European holidays. |

There are 4 main parts to Disneyland Paris:
1) Disneyland itself.
2) Disney Studios.
3) Disney Village.
4) The Disney Hotels.
Disneyland itself is the center of the complex. Everything there is fun and interesting. If you're into fast rides, Space Mountain (an inside roller coaster in the dark), Indiana Jones (a roller coaster that goes backwards), and Big Thunder Mountain (a roller coaster with an Old West theme) are the best. Semi-scary attractions include the Haunted Mansion, Star tours, and Pirates of Caribbean. Extremely entertaining shows include Honey I Shrunk the Audience and a time traveling show near the rocket ships (I can't remember its name). Most of the other rides are more simple, but quite fun.
Disney Studios is good, but far less entertaining than the main park. However, Rock n' Rollercoaster is incredible.
Disney Village is interesting, and so are the hotels. It doesn't cost anything to visit them, and you can walk around freely to visit them. |
