Provence obviously. I love this area. It's very nice in the summer and it's much nicer in the winter time compares to the North. Go to Nice, Grasse, AIx-en- Provence or Marseilles. You'll love it. Besides, it's close to Italy and Spain. You can drive over or take a bus trip to those countries.

Paris, the Riviera and the alps

Burgundy and Brittany are very nice regions with a lot of places to see. Rhone Alpes is a biggest region with mountains (Alps) a big lovely town (Lyon), Drome and ardeche are 2 other lovely areas in that region.

Burgundy and Brittany I have heard of, mainly for their culture. Paris is probably the most popular (Eiffel Tower, Arch de Triumph etc.)

Languedoc-Roussillon has one of the fastest population growths in France.

Montpellier consistently ranks as one of the best cities to live in, too.
