What are the top 10 things to do in Paris?

My father, sister (16), and I (14) are going to Paris this April for the first time. What are the best things to do there, considering we only have 2-3 days there?

J'adore Paris
1. La Tour Eiffel - I would recommend a very early trip (To avoid the long queues) but definately number one thing to see and go up. Also wonderful at night especially when it twinkles.

2. and 3. Notre Dame and Sainte Chappelle which are very close to each other.
http://www.notredamedeparis.fr/-English-
4.Walk along the River Seine and across some of the beautiful bridges.
5.Walk down the Champs Elysee to look at the shops many cafes parks etc to no. 6.

6. Le Louvre The worlds most famous art museum. The palace itself is well worth a look from the outside if you don't have time to go in. It is enormous. The gardens around it are very Parisian.

7. Arc de Triomphe (at the other end of Champs Elysee from Le Louvre)

8. Sacre Coeur and 9. Monmartre (famous for the artists) Both close together as well.

10. Musee Orsay (wonderful museum full of very famous art work in a old rail station building)

I'd go shopping.

StarZl
eiffel tower louvre and get lots of candy. You'll want the when you return

Definitely do the Eiffel Tower, and go all the way to the top. Also visit Notre Dame. Visit the Arc de Triomphe, and there's tons of shopping on the road leading up to it you & your sister can enjoy, and car dealers your dad can enjoy browsing at.

♥
Definitely take a boat tour of the River Seine. It will show you TONS of landmarks that you might not be able to go see on foot. It's about an hour to two long if I remember right and it's a great way to see the city.

Eiffel Tower...go in the evening before the sun sets. Go up in the day and come down at night. You'll get to see the city in day and the city of lights at night. Buy the tickets to take the elevator up instead of the stairs. It will save you time since you are on a time crunch. There will be a long line to get from the 2nd level to the top. If you don't make it to the top, it's okay. Everything just gets smaller to see and you can see plenty from the second level.

Arc de Triumph

Walk le champs elyse boulevard.

Visit the Lourve and see the most important paintings and sculptures (Mona Lisa, etc)

Notre Dame

Take the metro to St. Michel. Great cheap tourist shopping and good landmarks to see.

The Musée d'Orsay has some of the world's most recognizable impressionist paintings. The Louvre is much much bigger and has older objects in general. If you want to do a 2-3 hour museum blitz, D'Orsay might be a better choice than the Louvre.
