We were there for a couple of days a while ago. It's very beautiful, well kept beach (gorgeous at night as it's all lit up!). Mostly very expensive designer shops and posh restaurants and we got the impression that it was were all the very rich elderly french people go to retire and holiday.... |

It's my favorite city !! It's very beautiful and fun but It's better when it's sunny of course.
I was in Biarritz in July, around Biarritz, there are too : Saint Jean de Luz, Anglet, Bayonne etc...
This part of my country is called '' Pays Basque '' ( Basque country ), I 've a old aunt in : Cambo les Bains ( spa).

To name Biarritz a city is too much. It's an wonderful resort on the ocean coast. I was there only in summer and it was beautiful, a large beach, nice hotels, houses like castles (the owners are very rich people), expensive shops and restaurants. If you have enough money, you can spend a wonderful vacation. Anyway, bon voyage! |

20km of Spain
there are littles corridas with a cow, in the street's city.
there is a big big festival the 1st week of August (each years)
The most important is,
it's the city of surf in Europe. |

biarritz is like a little posh paris, posh resto, posh shops and only populated by old people, this is supposed to be in the basque country but they have nothing from basque culture u have better to go to bayonne which is the real basque city and much more beautiful |
