Cafes in either a small French town or in the towns north of Quebec City will do. |

In general, French cafes are small and somewhat dark. They are frequently found on a small street or a town square. French cafes, by definition, are family operated and space is limited. I can't say about cafes in Quebec, but space is not such an issue. |

In France cafes are small and pleasant, everybody speaks about everything (politics, sports, problems of the everyday life)
