I just love France. Everything about it -- the food, wine, culture, atmosphere etc. When I win the lottery I am moving to Paris !

France is a lovely country, and most of all Paris. But anyway you can find a variety of things to see, to visit. nice beaches, nice castles, nice forests. The cultural side of the country is very developed. French people are relatively sophisticated, they are politically engaged. The french system has advantages (social security, free schools, cheap transportation, loooooong vacations...) but also has problems concerning the unemployment; well to summarize, I tell you i love this country (because anyway no country is perfect, and the positives of France overpass the negatives!

I've only ever been to Paris, and it is one of the most beautiful cities I have ever seen... however, don't order steak in France, because even if you want it well done, it will still come back rare!

I spend most of my time on the WWI and WWII Battlefields of France and not just where the American fought. I am an American who love the French people and France. If the Americans spend more time there then they would understand why.

LISON
i can see you all like french people !!
thank you !

I went to a french school for 2 months as part of an exchange and i found it really nice, and the people vary with how 'nice' they are just like they do in England...i made some really good friends there

.
I think France is amazing, I absolutly love it !
Except .... the doggie poo poo !
Its gross, with out going into to much detail - but you have to look at where you step incase you get some on your shoe. But except for that the people are really friendly and always say bonjour when you see them or smile, the food is delicious and so are the drinks, and the views in Brittany are gawjus. And Disney Land Paris is just the best ever!!!!!!!!

Sorcha
I'd love to go there one day but I wouldn't like to visit Paris.
J'aime le fromage brie.

France is a nice country full of history. Paris is nice but Parisians are rude even to fellow French citizens.

I went to Paris and I was disgusted by the amount of dogsh*t all over the streets, those mingers don't bother picking it up, it spoils what could be a nice city.

Great travel destination, but won't choose to live there too long. Not as comfortable as US.

Not a lot they all talk funny and smell bad. And they are lazy too. Just think a small child of three orr four can speak English over here. In France grown men can't speak a word now that's what I call laziness.

France is a great country, its the French who spoil it though...

Welsh Rarebit
If you're thinking of Europe, go to Wales. The scenery is amazing, the climate is good and the history (castles etc) is more impressive that France.

Stef
It's great for a short period of time. The country itself is gorgeous. However the people....rude, unpleasant, racist, sexist, and bad drivers!

bazz d
i like France, nice place , nice wine, nice food..... shame about the peeps over there, ive been there many times and worked with a few in the past and found them to be arrogant and simple.
I dont mean to offend, but you asked for my opinion.

still the food, drink and scenery make up for it!
