I went a few years ago and loved it. I would suggest going through a tour company such as Paris Vision or Cityrama. That way, you won't have to worry about finding a way home since the Metro will be closed by the time the performance is over. And you probably don't want to hang out in Pigalle waiting for a taxi. The tour companies will pick you up at your hotel and return you to your hotel afterward. Or sometimes back on Rue de Rivoli at their place of business. It's much easier to get a taxi there than to wait with the throng of tourists in Pigalle.

I thought it was a great show...after a while, you don't even realize some of the women are topless. The costumes really are beautiful. There's some comedy, acrobatic guys, and the lady swimming in the big tank (that rises from the stage floor) with huge snakes.

If you want, I say go for it. You won't regret it.

Oh, if you opt for the dinner package, you get a better seat (on the floor), though the food doesn't look that appetizing to me. *g*

I lived in Paris for 17 years and never went. I don't think I missed anything. I have a hard time imagining it does anybody any good--pretty dehumanizing to women.

No it's no must, but sure it's amusing for some people. I'd rather advice people to visit quartier Latin or go surching for closharts and other disrespected people to show them some love and share some time with them. Take away the hate they feel for your country and let them add good wishes to your people and the rest of the world. Remind yourself that you are priviliged to travel the world. Be an ambassador!
THANK YOU ?!!
