France is a very diverse country, and Paris is the melting pot for all people.
I think french people are very polite as long as you respect their culture and attempt to speak the language.
They are slightly more reserved, so if they are rude to you it is most likely you're the one being the obnoxious foreigner.
The cities are beautiful, the food is great.
What more can i say?

I absolutely love France. The other comments are very silly and only posted to insult french people. I've been there a number of times, and i will agree too many people smoke there, but they are not rude, nor smelly.

I like visiting France. People have always been pretty nice to me and they have really nice mountains.

I just moved to France and have written a series of blogs on moving there, I think personally it takes some beating. You can see by looking at the websites and in particular some of the photos on the blogs that I am pretty impressed and the longer I live here the more impressed I get especially where I am in the South.

You can get to all the blogs by clicking my profile on the first one, if you think they are good give them a star rating at the top.

Great country with fabulous answerers - otherwise, rude, obnoxious chauvinistic garlic eaters - never wash themselves - loose wars - shake white flags - don't speak english - eat frogs and snails in baguette and soupe Ă  l'oignon - drink wine - etc

And it's full of queers -

I've been to Paris and its dirty and lots of ppl and
everyone smokes ! and the underground smells like
pee, no one speaks english and if u dont watch out
u will get something stolen..but other than that the
sites are beautiful !
