Le Secret

What does "frjtz" mean? I think it pertains to something French or a city in France...?

"fritz" is the nickname french people (and not only fascists, but all of them) gave to german occupating soldiers during the WWII... and it was not friendly at all (I think he confused with "the friend Fritz", a book written in 19th century, nothing to do with what you want).
cause "Fritz" was a frequent german name by the 1940s (Frederic in english, i guess).

Cabal
Never saw it anywhere in France, never heard it mentioned. Besides, there's no word in French without a single vowel. It is probably a made up meaningless word.

laudana
Not at all. It is meaningless.
But "frites" is french fries.

no, it is inspired by french fries, invented in Belgium :

There is a restaurant in the USA in remembrance of this souvenir of the first french fries a guy ate in Paris.

"fritz", just like "frisé" or "fridolin" was the friendly nickname of french fascists for germans.

Downthumb do not prevent ignorance

" boche " was the unfriendly one

now both disappeared
