Hi,
As a Parisian, I will tell that girls wear this summer short skirts ( with leggings) or shorts. This summer fashion trends for girls it's to wear long flashy or flower light dresses with sandals. Also they quite like to dress in a " Pop rock chic trend", Pete Doherty/Kate Moss Style.
Anyway, Paris fashion is quite like the weather , it change so quickly that I will not be surprised that they go for any way of dress soon. |

i live in Paris, and the girls were white skinny jeans or light wash straight jeans with little rips. some of them wear capris (knee high) with flowy shirt (beige, white, grey etc) with flip flops or flats or gladiators. for sweatshirts they wear a lot of American Apparel (purple sweatshirt) they have a very unique style and you probably won't find the shirts in America sorry |

I dont really think you can categorise Paris in terms of a certain ''style'' for clothing. Ive been 2 times this year and both times there has been jeans, shorts, dresses, pants, skirts, shoes, heels, sneakers, flip flops, caps, beanies, dark colours, light colours, you name it. So try not to worry about it too much lol you are going to be amongst a huge number of tourists all wearing different things as too will the Parisians so i wouldnt let it worry you about what to wear!!
And yes you would be right, because French women are much classier and not as slutty like American and British girls so short skirts definately wouldnt be ''in''. |

French girls really don't where shorts even in summer but tend to wear more skirts (not miniskirts) and dresses. |
