It's wonderfully beautiful...as long as you don't go to the touristic places (16th & 8th area), you 'll not see crowds of people...it's not true that it's dirty....unless you go to the popular part (18th & 19th area) which are full with coloured people and where you can smell spices everywhere (personnally, I luv'it : it's so lively!)...My best places are the 4th area : lots of bars, art galleries, restaurant, clubs, gays! and the best fashion-shops!...that's the place of art and creation and Fun!

Paris is absolutely one of the most romantic cities in the world. It's also quite expensive. Most people (especially the older ones) are quite rude ("In New York, they're warmer") It does help if you speak, or at least understand some French.

Paris is as everyone says the most beautiful city in the world.
It depends what time of year your going as to whether its crowded or not it takes a while to queue for the Eiffel tower but its deffo worth it.
I went bout 2 weeks ago and it wasn't crowded.
I reccommend you go to the Mont Matre near the Sacre Cour if you can be bothered to climb up all the steps.
There are alot of gypsys who go around with notes and ask if you are english just beware of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People also try to sell u stuf but check it before you buy I got 6 Eiffel towers for 2 euro which was quite good.
Hope you enjoy Paris!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Too much to do, Too much to see, Too much history, Not enough time, Not enough money.
Hope this helps.

For me, Paris is the most wonderful place on this planet. I lived there for a year while attending school. The following is what it is all about. A quote from a book: "Living in Paris unfits you for living anyplace else in the world". Paris is totally vibrant and full of live and it permeates your soul.

It is not like anything else you may have seen. It is peerless and very difficult to depict. You'd better go and see it by yourself.

It is also changing. Last time I had been there, like 20 years ago or so, and when I went back this last summer I found it had changed a lot. There are too many people nowadays, too many tourists. Hurry up before it's too late.

I love that city. It gets really hot in the summer...dry in the winter. Bring a lot of lotion. Try to speak French, and go out at night very late....they all do. When you see a dog, say to the dog "Bonjour, Monsieur Chien!" The French LOVE it when you like their dogs. Dogs are big in Paris...everyone has one. They might even ask you to join them or buy you a drink. Watch out for dog crap. Have fun!

It depends what part of Paris you're in. There's a beautiful tourist-y part (not including the Eiffel Tower) and a not-so-touristy part that's dangerous, dirty, and overall disgusting.

Paris is nice to visit to say you've been there but I would definitely suggest catching a train to Bordeaux if you want to experience the beautiful part of France. The food, people, and especially the wine is amazing.
