What is a nice affordable hotel/motel in Paris?

If you search for affordable accomodation in Paris, you basically have two choices:
- some hotel chains have rather cheap prices. In some cases the hotels are well located.
- some small independant hotels have very good prices. Depending on the hotel, you can have good surprises. They are typically harder to find than the most expensive ones because they generally do not have their own website.

This was a GREAT location to stay. Affordable.

We stayed at the best Western and it was 55 euro a night. Plus it was in a prime location.
