It has to be Paris for its amazing sights, beautiful food and just an awesome atmosphere. One city doesn't show you the true France but Paris is defnitely its best asset.

The best big cities are definitely Paris and Lyon. For a smaller city, check out Aix-en-Provence...it is absoulutely wonderful! I have never been to Strasbourg, but people rave about it.

Paris...without a doubt, stand where Marie Antoinette was beheaded, visit the Louve, Oggle the gold statue of Joan of Arc holding high the flag of France on her golden horse and on and on, you stand on history and feel it in your bones!

No, no, no. Nice (or anything on the Mediterranean.) The people are not as uptight, the weather is always beautiful and the beach is always within walking distance. The water is so absolutely beautiful and there is always something to do.
