You must cross the bridge over the Seine, than walk, trough Trocadero Gardens, the Kleber Avenue and you'll be at the Arc de Triomphe in Place de l'Etoile(or place Charles de Gaulle). From here begins the Champs Elysees avenue.Do a walk all the long(you'll have to see a lot of beauties),and after about 3 km.it will be finished in the Place de la Concorde(the midlle of Paris).Don't miss this trip.Bon voyage.

to the previous poster: tell your sister she's an idiot.

The eiffel tower is not necessarily a long way away. from the place de la concorde you can just cross the bridge over to the left bank in front of the parliament. you would have to walk a couple miles (maybe 3-4) along the river westbound to reach the eiffel tower. nowhere near the champs-elysees. i'd say thats an easy and picturesque way of reaching it.

According to my sister, who has been to Paris, they are at MOST 5 miles apart. The Eiffel Tower is at one end of the Champs Elysees, the arc du triomphe is at the other, and Place de la Concorde is somewhere in the middle
