What is the distance between the eiffel tower and the louve? |

You can do both in one day! take the metro to get from to the other.
The best thing to see at the Louvre is the artists outside. Inside you are just hustled along like sheep and don't have enough time to really study the paintings. It would take you a lifetime!
So enjoy Paris and if you have time a visit to the George Pompidou centre is well worth it, if only for the street performers.
Always allow time and money to sit at a pavement cafe and have a cafe au lait!
If you are short on money, the eiffel tower is better seen from outside of it, than going up it which is expensive for a view of Paris.
Also Mont Martre + latin quarter is free and you will get a better 'flavour' than paying out tons of Euros to get into 'attractions' |

Both are within walking distance of each other, if you consider a half hour away an acceptable distance. Paris has a very good and inexpensive subway system that will get you anywhere you need to go, pick up a map. Have fun! |

I would recommend two things: That you go to the tower first because once you get to the Louvre you will get sucked in and lose track of time because it is so big. I would use the train to get around the city. Your best bet would be to get a Carnet (car-nay). It is a book of ten tickets and each ticket is good from the time you go into the train station, through all of your stops, til the time you get off of the train. There are stops right at both the Tower, and then Louvre and you can get a map of the train system online so you know which lines to use.
