you can get the Rosyth to zeebrugge ferry company is superfast ferries and the crossing takes 17 hours, once in zeebrugge it is about 30 minute drive to the french border

tgva325
Train from Edimburgh to London (4h 25), Eurostar to Paris (2h 35)... there are deals to do the trip from Scotland to London cheap and if you purchase in advance Eurostar is cheaper too.

Try Petty France, in Edinburgh.

Ryanair, or easyjet!
Glasgow Prestwick to Paris Beauvais, 1h30 flight, then you arrived at Beauvais where there is buses to bring you to Paris Porte Maillot, for 13 euros, it takes 1h15.

Or if money if not a problem, it`s probably easiest from Glasgow International Airport to Paris Charles de Gaules, with British Airway, the flight is a bit longer cause you`ve got a stop at Birmingham, but it`s not the same service, and you arrived closer from Paris.

And from Paris you can go anywhere else in France...

Bon voyage!

to fly is the easiest and quickest but it depends on where in France you are going

MISSY
If you will need your car whilst you are there, then the easiest way is to take a ferry from dover to calais, however it does depend on which part of france you are going to- if it is very far away from calais, it is probably not worth the long drive.

The quicker but more expensive option is to go by plane, however you won't have your car with you- you will need to hire, which is another expense.

You could also take a plane to the south of england then take the ferry at dover to avoid the long drive from scotland.

Good luck.
